Peace with food...

I just wanted to say that I love lce. I had about a week of going on and off plan and was really stuggling with emotional eating. I learned some very important things--I feel like crap when I eat sugary, floury, carby foods, and the lc woe really works. After 2 days of being back on plan consistently, I realized just how good I feel when I eat this way. And I believe I am finally making peace with food. It doesn't have power over me anymore. I needed my off plan week to give me confirmation...

Oh my goodness

how yummy was my dinner last night?!?!?!? it was: cauli-mash, then a layer of cottage cheese (MMM), then my spaghetti meatsauce, then parmesan cheese. oh, how good!! gonna have the same for lunch today, but i'll asdd some peas to the mash, for some greens....guilt-free.....sooo happy to have found the recipe for cauli-mash here!!!!

pretty bad

right. had a pretty bad couple of days, but am back on track today (at least i've been to the gym 3 times this week!! )

i have just made the cauli-mash...with cream, butter, salt and cream cheese - HOW GOOD IS IT?!?!?!. my 3yo and i just shared a bowl, with added parmesan (i love parmesan), and now i have so much hope and peace about the spag sauce i made last night for our groupies. tonight, i will have it with cauli-mash (MMMMMMM)

that's all for now. my husb leaves...

Some me time

Today was a good day. I took today off work for some me time, husband @ work kids in school it was great. I got out of bed @ 8am (usually 4am) went to the gym worked out 1 hr, came home fix me a egg, bacon and cheese omelet, got dressed went for a nice pedicure(really need that OMG). When I got home I had time to clean out my closet had a light late lunch tuna salad, then I took a nap ( i never get to take naps OMG) and did all this before my husband and kids was home. Oh happy day. I made a nice...

I am a newbie to this site

Hello everyone. My name is Jan I am trying the low carb way of eating Ist 2 weeks great ,bt find it a little hard socially. Dont feel hungry which is great but get a little bored with my food. But then thats my problem, I have a very sweet tooth.
